Oceanside CA— The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Riverside County and Northwestern San Diego County in southwestern California until 5:30 PM PST, February 2, 2019
At 2:31 PM PST, NWS weather radar indicates a line of very heavy rain moving into northwest San Diego County including Camp Pendleton and Oceanside. Rainfall rates of 0.50 inches in 30
minutes and 0.75 inches in 1 hour are expected.
The heavy rainfall will cause dangerous flooding to creeks and urban areas.
Avoid low-lying areas and obey detours.
Rapid rises on the Santa Margarita River will occur through 6 pm. When flooded, turn around don’t drown.
