Solutions for Change Expands to Oceanside to Help More Families out of Homelessness

Oceanside CA— Solutions for Change welcomes 32 working and rent paying families to their beautiful new apartment homes in Oceanside during an Open House and Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Residents of North Coast Terrace Apartments are enrolled in Solutions University, a 1,000-day personal transformation academy that unravels the complex socioeconomic conditions that often keep families trapped in deep poverty. Participants build resiliency and obtain the skills, knowledge and resources needed to end dependency. By growing capacity to end dependency, Solutions for Change families permanently solve homelessness.
“Twelve years ago I was four blocks away from here, desperate, homeless and on the streets with my four kids,” says Teena Faison, Manager of North Coast Terrace. “Today I am a woman on a mission to serve for the sake of others. I am so grateful that I no longer need the public good, and that I can now be part of an Oceanside community where I strive every day to live out and be that public good.”
