La Jolla CA—Tonight, October 8, 2019, an overnight closure will go into effect on Interstate 5 (I-5) for construction of the future Mid-Coast Trolley overcrossing south of Nobel Drive. During the closure, crews will continue pouring concrete to form the Trolley bridge.
The following closure will be in place:
Tuesday, October 8, through Wednesday morning, October 9:

Detour routes will be available via eastbound SR 52 and northbound Interstate 805.
This is a continuation of last week’s work, which required closures on southbound lanes. Over the next several weeks, additional closures will be required along I-5 as crews construct the Trolley overcrossing. Notices will be provided as work schedules are released.
