Detectives obtained an arrest warrant forty-year-old Marvin Meyers Wight for 664-187(a) PC – Attempted Murder. On June 4, 2020, at about 9:35 a.m., the United States Marshall’s San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail served the arrest warrant on Marvin Wight. The arrest occurred in the area of 500 Big Bend Way in the city of Oceanside.
The woman shot during the incident is thirty-four-year-old Kristina Montalvo of San Marcos. Montalvo is alive; however, she is still in the hospital and her injuries continue to be grave.
