Oceanside CA— On Monday, September 28, 2020 at 10:00 am, Oceanside Police and Fire Departments were called to the beach area off the 1200 block of North Pacific St. regarding an industrial accident. When officers arrived, they were directed to an area on the beach where a deceased female, was run over by a large Caterpillar Tractor operated by Manson Dredge Co..

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased as 68 year-old Carol Aguirre. Aguirre has no local address.

The tractor operator was removing dredge pipe from the beach when the incident occurred.
There was no indication of drugs or alcohol being a factor in the accident.
The unidentified female victim was asleep on the beach when the incident happened.
The female was taken to the San Diego County Medical Examiners Office for further investigation.
