Oceanside CA— The Oceanside City Council voted 3-1 Wednesday to approve the appointment of Kori Jensen as City Council-member to fill the vacant District 1 Council seat. The vacancy occurred when Esther Sanchez was elected Mayor in November 2020.
Kori Jensen was one of 36 applicants for the District 1 position, which will be on the ballot in November 2022. Ms. Jensen took the Oath of Office on Thursday and a ceremonial swearing-in will be held at the February 3 City Council meeting.
