Oceanside CA— Just after 3:00 this afternoon, December 15, 2021, Oceanside Fire Department units responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 300 block of Vista Marazul.

The first engine on scene arrived six minutes after the initial alarm and found a two-story house with heavy smoke and fire from the first and second floor. Fire crews pulled multiple hose lines into the structure along with a coordinated ventilation effort from the roof to suppress the fire.
Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire and clear the structure of any occupants in approximately 10 minutes.
Units remained on scene for an additional thirty minutes to overhaul the site and stabilize the structure.
