Oceanside CA— Oceanside Fire Department units responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 400 block of N. Clementine early this morning, February 20, 2022.
The first engine on scene arrived four minutes after the initial alarm and found a single-story house with heavy smoke and fire from the first-floor kitchen that had extended into the attic-space. Fire crews pulled multiple hose lines into the structure along with a coordinated ventilation effort from the roof to suppress the fire.
Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire and clear the structure of any occupants in approximately 19 minutes.
Units remained on scene for an additional hour to overhaul the site and stabilize the customer.
There were no reported injuries to residents or fire personnel.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
