New Text Metrolink feature enhances customer experience
Los Angeles CA— Valentine’s Day is known as the day of romance and Metrolink is showing the love to its riders today by meeting customers on all lines with sweet treats and a new text feature that adds convenience to the daily commute. Riders can text Metrolink at 1-800-371-5465 (LINK).
“Today we are thanking our riders with Valentine’s Day candy throughout the six-county system and we’re also offering an easier to way get information through our new Text Metrolink feature that provides real-time information through 1-800-371-5465,” said Metrolink CEO Stephanie Wiggins. “Customers tell us that getting information from a text number is easier than logging into a website for things like up-to-date arrivals and departures. A dedicated staff receives the text and answers in a timely manner.”
Metrolink regularly engages riders on how best to improve service and the topic of text messaging was one of the top suggestions. Customers can also use the Text Metrolink feature for general questions, inquiries about fares or to report safety or security concerns in privacy and receive a prompt response.
The Text Metrolink service is available during regular customer service hours, Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Phone carrier texting charges may apply.
