The San Diego Surf College Cup 2012, a competitive youth soccer tournament for boys and girls, kicks off Nov. 23-25, organizers recently announced.

Presented by Nike, the San Diego Surf College Cup hosts boys and girls teams in the college recruitable age groups of under 18, under 17 and under 16. A full game schedule is available at http://goo.gl/d0N8t.

The Surf College Cup is played at the San Diego Polo Club in Del Mar, with 18 full-sized fields in one location. Surf College Cup hosts more than 400 college coaches and scouts each year, making it one of the most desirable tournaments for college recruitment age players to compete for college exposure, according to a Surf Cup announcement.

Surf Cup organizers expect attendance to reach 35,000 to 45,000 over the holiday weekend with players, families and soccer spectators enjoying games played by 153 teams. Of those teams, 52 come from Southern California, one from Canada and three from Mexico.
