ESCONDIDO — The Escondido Public Library offers its adult Summer Reading Clubs beginning June 23 and running through Aug. 2. This year’s theme, “Paws to Read,” is designed to encourage book- and animal-lovers of all ages to pause, read and discuss what they’ve read with others, according to an Escondido Library announcement. Adults can join by registering in-person at the library’s Information Desk or online at Participants who submit book reviews will be eligible for prizes.
