ESCONDIDO — The Escondido Public Library invites children ages 8 to 11 to attend Mad Science Saturday this fall. The series of three monthly programs is designed to help children learn about scientific topics through exploration, projects and hands-on experiments. Mad Science Saturday will be held in the library’s Turrentine Room from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Scheduled sessions are:
- Sept. 20: Salt Painting Ice Sculptures
- Oct. 18: Fossils for Kids
- Nov. 15: Bridging the Gap — Why do Bridges Fall Down?
Library programs, events and services are free and open to the public. The program is funded by Friends of the Escondido Public Library. Registration is not required.
