OCEANSIDE: College artists profiled in May show at Kruglak Gallery

OCEANSIDE — Kruglak Gallery presents “Praxis May Vary,” an exhibition of art by 17 rising artists from Oceanside’s MiraCosta College, May 23-26. “Praxis May Vary” features small- and large-scale works in a range of forms including painting, performance, glass blowing, sculpture, photography and others. Praxis can be defined as the “exercise or practice of an art, science, or skill.” Each artist in the exhibition approaches their work differently; some emphasize the process of artistic creation and others the finished product. Admission is free and open to the public. A reception is scheduled 5-8 p.m. May 24 at the gallery on campus, 1 Barnard Drive in Oceanside. Gallery hours: 2:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. More information: Email or call Diane Adams at [email protected] or 760-795-6657.
