SAN MARCOS – The Horse Heritage Festival & San Marcos Trails Day returns this year on Oct. 13, offering a 3-mile Ride & Stride and a variety of hikes along Twin Oaks Valley’s quiet and horse-friendly trail system. Proceeds from the event’s Poker Ride go toward improving the public horse show grounds at Walnut Grove Park. Prizes will be given for the best poker hands.
