OsideNewsAuthorities seek the public’s help with information about an attack on a man in Vista on Saturday, Dec. 31.

The attack happened just before 1 a.m. in the 300 block of Vista Village Drive when a 20-year-old man was attacked by several people, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station arrived on the scene to find the man lying unconscious on the ground, according to the Sheriff’s Department. The victim was taken to the hospital and was reported to be in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses told authorities that the man was attacked by several people, the Sheriff’s Department stated.
