Solana Beach has extended its deadline for public comment on a proposed city sign at the intersection of Lomas Santa Fe and Highland drives.

The city welcomes public comments through Dec. 3, according to an announcement on the city’s official Facebook page. The proposed sign, which has a horizontal wave design with the words “Solana Beach” and a sun, and includes landscaping, would be placed in the median of the Lomas Santa Fe and Highland intersection, a rendering shows.
