Pacific Trails PE teacher earns statewide educator award

Pacific Trails Middle School physical education teacher Tyler Kuehl has been named the 2025 Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year by the California Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the San Dieguito Union High School District announced May 29.

Rescue Mission residents conquer San Dieguito trail challenge

During the morning devotional Jan. 13, Noemi Bravo told the story of Moses climbing Mt. Sinai, then pivoted to the Coast to Crest Trail Challenge. “These six individuals really climbed the mountain,” Bravo said of six recent finishers from San Diego Rescue Mission.

Two North San Diego County Boys & Girls Clubs are combining their resources in a merger announced Tuesday, July 9. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside and Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito will join to create the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego County.

San Dieguito River Park seeks Coast to Crest participants

Sabellico leaves Carlsbad panel, shifts campaign to school board
