The semi-rural Encinitas community of Olivenhain is on high alert for wildfires as residents fear catastrophe following the devastating fires in Los Angeles.
North San Diego County and regional organizations and individuals are gathering donations for those who have lost their homes and possessions in the Los Angeles area wildfires sweeping through Altadena, Pacific Palisades, Malibu and elsewhere.
The cities of Encinitas and Carlsbad are reminding residents of fire preparation as parts of the Los Angeles area reel from some of the most destructive wind-driven blazes in the region’s history.
