ENCINITAS — The Lux Art Institute invites families to celebrate the end of summer with an evening of music and art Aug. 14 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Local children from School of Rock will open for teen band Step Forward Lads, and Cardiff Seaside Market will serve its popular burgundy pepper tri-tip. Families can take part in projects with artists, as well.
