Metrolink rail system first in U.S. to have fully renewable-fuel fleet

Metrolink rail system, which has service running from Oceanside north to Los Angeles, celebrated its transition April 13 to fully renewable fuel for its locomotives. North County Transit District is set to receive a $4.8 million grant federal grant for the purchase of hydrogen fuel cell electric buses.
