With 48 acres of ranunculus in bloom, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch are entering the peak of color for the 2025 season, and just in time for National Garden Month. Visitors can immerse themselves in an array of colors every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Mother’s Day.
Our region’s winter rains have put us ahead of our yearly rainfall average in San Diego, and even though we’re not quite through with winter yet, hints of spring are beginning to emerge as poppies and other native flowers start to bloom. In the spirit of spring, Carlsbad takes center stage for this month’s events as the city’s flower and strawberry fields ramp up their offerings.
Pop Up Picnic Co. announces the return of PICNICS + FLOWERS, a unique and semi-private picnic experience set against the breathtaking backdrop of The Flower Fields in Carlsbad. The event will take place every Saturday and Sunday from March 23 to May 12 with seatings available between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
